If your choice for lawn care is a reduced pesticide program, we recommend our IPM program. An IPM program is described as a program designed to improve and maintain the health and beauty of your lawn by using economically sound and environmentally benign control strategies.
These strategies include developing proper cultural practices such as proper lawn mowing and watering, introducing improved turfgrass varieties, physically removing problem weeds where possible, suppressing pest populations by using proven biological control products, and, on an as-needed basis only, the judicious use of chemical control products to maintain economic thresholds. This program includes five (5) treatments using traditional or organic-based fertilizers.
Treatments for weeds, insects and/or diseases are on an as-needed basis only. We strongly recommend a soil analysis so that corrective treatments for pH and nutrient imbalances can be corrected as soon as possible. Your lawn may require seeding and core aeration on an annual basis. |
