Our Company's Premium Lawn Care & Weed Control Program
The Platinum Lawn Care Program is Fairway Green’s most complete lawn care program. It is designed as a two-year program, consisting of seven annual applications. It will supply your lawn with everything in the Gold Lawn Care Program, plus it alternates annually between Lime and Core Aeration.
1. Early Spring
This application includes a balanced, slow-release fertilizer, crabgrass pre-emergent and treatment for broadleaf weeds.
2. Late Spring
This application includes a balanced, slow-released fertilizer, a second crabgrass pre-emergent, and treatment for broadleaf weeds. We will also treat for surface feeding insects as necessary.
3. Grub Control *
This is a preventative treatment for grubs, which are the sub-surface stage of beetles. They cause substantial damage to lawns in our area annually. For optimum grub control, this treatment requires watering or rainfall after the application.
4. Summer
This application includes key nutritional supplements designed to improve resistance to disease, harsh weather, and drought. As necessary, spot treat weeds and treat for surface feeding insects.
5. Early Fall
This application includes a balanced, slow-release fertilizer and a treatment for broadleaf weeds. We treat for surface feeding insects as necessary.
6. Late Fall
This application includes a balanced, slow-release fertilizer that promotes winter hardiness and spring green up.
7. Lime or Core Aeration
Lime: Year 1
This application corrects soil pH levels making fertilizer and other nutrients more readily available to the plants.
Core Aeration: Year 2
Aeration allows air, water and nutrients to more readily reach the root zone, relieves soil compaction, and reduces thatch buildup.
* For optimum grub control, irrigation or rainfall should occur within 24 hours. Depending on weather and product considerations, this treatment will be done in conjunction with either your LATE SPRING or SUMMER treatment. On this day you will receive a bill for both applications.
